Theaters of Sleep

When I write music, I work with my mind and ear. Working with hands and eyes leads me somewhere else, where dissonance, tonality, melody and rhythm have different looks. I feel both activities protect me. The creative oneiric illogicality is my source for possible incipit for stories I would like to listen and which I would like to be able to invent. From Paul Klee’s more playful dimension, from Joseph Cornell and Fausto Melotti’s structures – boxes and tiny theatres – I move an ideal and distorted dadaist vision where, by means of these locations or frames I have called Theatres of Sleep, I try to represent my private mythology
